P.O.V. ('Point of View') is a project that redefines the concept of the extended performer from an interdisciplinary perspective. This approach combines electronic music, virtual reality headsets, video and social media as integral elements of the performance. Through this multimedia interaction, the work seeks not only to amplify the sensory impact of the piece, but also to encourage critical reflection on how technology and social media shape perception and identity in the contemporary world. In this sense, the research examines how the performer can become a critical agent — even developing a new way of creating through collaboration — when technology ceases to be a spectacular medium and becomes instead a reflective extension of their practice; and how, through the integration of body, sound and image, a form of knowledge particular to the performative act can emerge.

P.O.V. resonates with the principles of my field of study, which aims to delve into the creative possibilities that arise at the convergence of music, technology and performance. This project seeks not only to make an innovative contribution to the saxophone repertoire, but also to explore new perspectives in the realm of gesture, as well as in the integration of and interaction with technological media.

The work is situated within an artistic research framework that challenges the traditional conventions of the classical concert, proposing a novel experience for both performer and spectator.
