Iram Ghufran is Associate Professor, Department of Art, Media and Performance, Shiv Nadar University where she offers courses in artistic research, film and moving image art. Her work lies at the interstices of creative practice and research, and has been screened in numerous international art and cinematic contexts. Iram holds a PhD from the Centre for Research and Education in Art and Media (CREAM), University of Westminster (London). Her film, "A Terrible Beauty", an experimental sci-fi documentary premiered recently at the Visions du Reel international Film Festival, Nyon.
