Joaquin Macedo is a composer and researcher based in Berlin. He studied electronic music composition at the National University the Arts (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and experimental music theatre at the UdK Berlin and is currently a PhD candidate at the Superior School of Music and Theatre Hamburg (HfMT Hamburg). With his project “Experimentelle Musik als Zwischenraum” (Experimental music as Interstice) he explores and reflects on sound art, performance and experimental formats of music theatre from the perspective of space and spatial theories.
